Pyrolysis is one of the most challenging analysis types in GC-MS. A lot of matrices and analytes that are not volatile can be analyzed with pyrolysis. This can be samples from the industrial field such as plastic bottles or car tires, environmental samples and food samples. The spectra is broad. Every sample contains its own issues.Our pyrolysis expert in this session is Dr. Michael Soll from Frontier Labs who will answer all your questions on pyrolysis, from plastic samples, to micro and nano plastic, from qualitative results to quantitative results.
